Externships
Externships at Davis College:
- Offer learning opportunities for students to grow and mature in their chosen professions
- Allow students to utilize and enhance the knowledge and skills they’ve learned in their programs
- Provide supervised, hands-on experience for students working in their field of study at a pre-approved site
- Include interaction among the site supervisor, student, and externship coordinator
- Require written evaluations to assess how well students have met program objectives
