DAVIS COLLEGE WINS BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU
TORCH AWARD FOR MARKETPLACE ETHICS
Davis College has earned the Better Business Bureau 2008 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics in the large business category. The award is based on company ethics, business relationships, and integrity. The Torch Award is open to for-profit businesses that serve the public through retail or wholesale markets and tax-exempt, non-profit, charitable organizations that meet the BBB's 20 Standards for Charitable Accountability.
Davis College President Diane Brunner is proud to have won this distinguished award. "We are delighted to have earned it. We will now enjoy it and treasure it. And we will honor it for the next 150 years.”
The College is currently celebrating its 150th Anniversary. Davis College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association (NCA).

DAVIS COLLEGE DRAWING CAMP FOR CHILDREN
Davis College will hold a Drawing Camp for Children during the week of August 4.
The methods that will be taught in this camp will be to encourage children to learn how to “see” and to understand the fundamentals of basic drawing techniques and styles. Emphasis will be placed on establishing observational skills along with eye and hand coordination. Participants will also explore basic drawing tools such as, ebony pencil, charcoal and pastels.

scramble "fore" scholarships golf outing
Please join us on Friday, July 25, 2008 for the Eighth Annual Scramble "Fore" Scholarships Golf Outing to benefit the Davis College Foundation.
This year's event will be held at Bedford Hills Golf Club located at 6400 Jackman Road, Temperance, MI 48182. Tee off will be at 8:00 am.
Additionally, the students of Davis College are organizing an event to take place concurrently at the Bedford Bedrock Miniature Golf Course.
Both events will benefit the Davis College Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to create opportunities for individuals and organizations to provide resources that enhance the education of Davis College students.
